Save The Turtles!🐢

Looking for a fun and rewarding way to get involved with the local community? Look no further, because it is right here! Visit the Karen Beasly Sea Turtle Rescue & Rehabilitation Center.

The mission of the Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center is the conservation and preservation of all species of marine turtles, both in the water and on the beach. We accomplish this through the rescue, care, and release of sick and injured sea turtles, public education regarding the plight of sea turtles and the threat of their extinction, and learning opportunities for students of biology, wildlife conservation, and veterinary medicine from around the world. A nonprofit organization, we view our work as a privilege and are honored to work with these magnificent creatures.

Karen Beasly's Sea Turtle Rescue is a non-profit organization that, helps with the rehabilitation and release of injured sea turtles. In addition, they also provide a "sea turtle patrol", which helps maintain and monitor the new sea turtle nests, and give a safe way to the ocean when they are ready to hatch. You can get involved today by visiting, volunteering, donating or adopting!

Visiting Hours: Open for tours on Thursdays and Saturdays from 1-4pm.

ADMISSION (plus tax): $3 Children (12 and under) $4 Seniors & Military $5 General Admission (13 and up)

*disclaimer* if you park on the side of the road beware of the drop-off into the ditches, and that sand is softer than it looks!

When you volunteer at the sea turtle rescue, you provide information for the learning stations during tours, as well as help with the gift shop. If you volunteer to provide turtle care, you can work on caring for the patients up to one morning per week, as well as attend the sea turtle releases.

You can volunteer in the summer months, which starts off with an open house. If it is not in season yet, you can fill out a volunteer form here.

You can send your tax deductible donations to the Karen Beasly Turtle Rescue by clicking the donate button below!
